[ this old door ]

This is my desk.

My desk is a door, literlly. I found it 3 years ago at a garage sale and it wasn’t till a few months ago that I thought I’d put it to use and use it it as my desk. I hope to find some old kitchen table legs to attach to it someday.

Ideas can be life-changing. Sometimes all you need to open the door is just one more good idea.

Just like that glass vase full of rocks and sticks, little tokens of items found on travels. The stick from a trip to Alberta and that red brick was found in the ocean when we went to Victoria.

If you’ve noticed that colorful quilt, well it was given to us…. a little heirloom from his great grandma, I love to snuggle and wrap myself up in it!

all these items make me warm and I’m happy when surrounded by them.

oh yeah, and those little Eiffel towers are reminders…someday Paris, look out I’m coming!

Jenny - You are so amazing I love your zest for life. I am inspired by you everytime I open your blog (which is alot) just to see if you have something new for us. Even the smallest thing (one new picture or small little blurb) makes my day some days.

Simone - Very nice! Love how the keyboard fits perfectly on one l”edge” of the door. Can I just say that I’m drooling over your monitor! ;)

Sherry - Oh wow! That is SUCH a cool desk. Mine feels so generic ^^;
