Be comfortable: Good pictures will require a certain comfort level from you. So smile, laugh or pretend to laugh; “HA HA HA” it’s great therapy you know! BE YOURSELF x10 and everything will fall into place. Wear clothing that makes you happy!
Make a statement: Outfit changes are the norm, so mix it up with some different clothing options that will make for a fun and creative photgraphs. Bring along clothing that screams your personality. As a family mix and match. Come up with unusual combinations that compliment and contrast each of you. Try other fabrics Tweeds, silks, wool knits, etc. The choices are endless.
What about white? Let’s be honest, I’m not a fan of the white T-shirt . Now and again and depending on ourlocation it might be in order! I’ll always say while snooping through your closet “ohhhh this shirt looks great on you” Let’s use it!
Props and Accessories: Do you love the 50’s? a picnic in the park? How about just laying in a big field on a patchwork quilt while your sweetheart plays his guitar? If you have an idea, let’s make it work! Accessorize. Beautiful jewelry and coordinated bags, lovely pillows to lounge on, scarves, hats (fully recommended) favorite toys, blankets, etc. those little details create a more personal memorable photographs!
